My New Business Cards
I’ve always had an itching to change my business card on a more regular basis than most people would. I either get bored with the design or I have another great idea that I want to express and hand out. Sometimes, I actually run out and need to print more and quite frankly, that’s the most rewarding re-design of my cards I have.

The process of doing a commission has always interesting and intriguing to me. It goes well beyond just “copying” a photograph or putting paint to paper to make a buck. A commission is a lot like being a private detective; I piece together all the evidence into a visual conclusion. I go beyond just using a photograph, I enjoy the process from start to finish. I learn about a person and interpret that mental knowledge into visual expression with the use of color and composition. The photograph does help with the visual features of the subject, but in the end the color takes the cake.
